As unbelievable as it may seem, this flag... and others like it... were actually found flying from flagpoles in our area.

Because of this, the Riverfront Marines have instituted a flag replacement program. When one of our members sees a torn, tattered, and just plan worn out American flag, we replace it at no charge with a brand-new 3’ x 5’ flag... with the property owner’s permission, of course!

We also hand out literature about the proper way to display and care for our flag.

If you see a flag that doesn’t look like the one in the picture on the left, replace it!
